玻璃钢雕塑金属模 FRP sculptural metal mould 金属模特别是钢模,一般用于尺寸小、批量大的模压产品。如制作玻璃钢平板时表面光洁的不锈钢板;制作型材时用角钢、槽钢。因为模压产品不仅要加压,还要加热。也有用于外形不复杂的大型产品。黄铜虽是常见金属,但因易受树脂辅助剂侵蚀,并会对树脂固化产生不利影响,除非在工作面已镀铬或其他金属的场合,否则不宜采用。金属模具的制造加工很困难、成本高。另有低熔点合金模其成分是:Zn93%、Al4%、Cu3%、Mn0.5%,当温度为50~80℃时,合金硬度(HB)为100左右。其流动性好,耐磨性差,适于制造形状复杂、花纹精细的塑料成型模腔,使用温度一般>80℃。另一种低熔点金属是58%铋,42%锡,熔点135℃。低熔点合金模的优点是制模周期短、工艺简单,可重复使用。 Metal molds, especially steel dies, are commonly used in small size and large volume moulded products.
