玻璃钢，顾名思义，是由树脂、玻璃纤维、滑石粉构成的材质。制作过程大致是，泥塑或切泡沫，然后做模具（阴模），在翻制玻璃钢，用烧碱水洗表面，打水磨，上底漆，补孔，打磨，上色。

做模具，首先是分好泥塑合模的位置，这个看经验，需要注意的是不要有卡位，以防止模具做好无法脱开。找好合模线，用PVC薄片插入合模线，做分模使泥塑分成两部分或几部分。
